Thank you for your interest in being a Psychology Research Assistant! Before completing this application, look at faculty websites so you are aware of faculty research interests and programs.

Next, please read the following information and disclaimers:
1)There are limited Research Assistant positions. Filling out this application does not guarantee you an RA spot for the semester. Faculty will evaluate your responses, GPA, and coursework to make their selections.
2) You should construct your schedule as if you have not been selected as a RA. If you are selected as an RA, then you can make the necessary schedule adjustments. Note that you will need to complete a contract if you are doing research for course credit. This contract is not necessary if you plan to volunteer as an RA.
3) Ultimately, the decision for RA selection is up to the the faculty member. You are encouraged to discuss the opportunity with them directly.

Note: Faculty will make their selections between 11/22 and 12/9. If you have not heard back from faculty by then you may contact your academic advisor for alternate opportunities. However, ALWAYS make your semester course schedule as if you DON'T have the position and plan to drop courses accordingly once your are registered and confirmed.
